The Legal Side of HGH

Before we decide the legal side of HGH, let us see what this Human Growth Hormone is. It is called as somatropin. These growth hormones are produced in our body’s pituitary glands to promote growth cells. They include the amino acids and they preserve the tissues and other organs of the body. The HGH is also seen to stimulate protein construction in the muscles since our childhood till we age. These hormones are produced mainly during our developing ages and after the age of thirty; a drop is seen in the production of these hormones.

Human Growth Hormones help with regeneration of organs as they mature, muscle accumulation, keeping skin tight and avoiding wrinkles, hair re-growth, enhancing stronger bones, better immune function, increase in energy levels, lower and stable blood pressure levels, better function of cardiac muscle and appropriate cholesterol level. Lack of proper growth hormones could lead to dwarfism, growth retardation, and cardiovascular dysfunction, lack of energy or even weak skeletal structure.

Nowadays we see more artificial induction of human growth hormones to avoid these drawbacks in children. Those children who are slow by birth in developing their organs or getting proper height or stimulating their protein fabrication are injected HGH at an early age. It is used nowadays in adults to treat AIDS, growth malfunction, weight loss and muscle crippling. However on the brighter side, people now see it also as a means to reverse their ageing symptoms. However this is not seen as legal in many countries. You could get a jail imprisonment for five years or a fine of US$250,000 in case you use hormone treatment to reverse the ageing syndrome.

This has been imposed keeping in mind the side effects of such human growth hormone treatments which could be start from simply swelling and pain in joints to even cancer. The other side effects of HGH include hypoglycemia, fluid retention, excessive hair growth, thyroid damage, liver damage, low blood pressure, low sugar level and even diabetic coma.

Since 1950s, human growth hormone has been used to help children with growth problems. A study conducted in 1990 found that HGH usage reduced fat and boosted the lean muscle mass in men. By law, use of HGH is banned in many countries. However many people find it difficult to live a life without such hormone treatment. Especially people find it difficult to sleep or perform their daily activities after a certain age. This leaves them frustrated. Today there are a number of HGH sprays and pills available over the counter at even your local medical stores. Yet the question remains – how legal is the use of HGH?

Without doubt, use of HGH is regarded legal for most cases. Usage of HGH for children and adults with physiological or growth problems is allowed in most countries. However the use of same for reversing ageing is not considered legal. But when you consider the better effects of HGH that these ageing people get from the treatment, you would advocate making this legal for them. In fact, the legal status on the use of HGH products is still not clear. That is because we still see many websites selling these products online and also these are easily available at medical stores. So what is the legal side of HGH?

One needs to know that growth hormones are secreted into our body to increase the rate of cell growth. But when you consider that cancer is nothing but unbridled cell growth, you might need to reconsider your decision to use such Human Growth Hormone treatment for the sake of reversing your age. Yes, without doubt, the Human Growth Hormone therapy does help the ageing people to revive their youthful days. It improves not only their physiological health but also their psychological health. It helps those with a bad sexual life to get back their libido and get better control over their orgasm or erectile functions.

Considering all the side effects of Human Growth Hormone therapy, one thing is clear. Most companies sell you these products without making you aware of the huge defects that accompany them. You need to use these products only after you understand fully what will be the side effects you might be subjected to with such hormone treatment therapy.

Summary:

Though HGH supplements do more good than harm, the usage of it is highly restricted – especially for children and for the aged. Therefore, one should have a thorough understanding of the legal complications before embarking on an HGH boosting plan.
