Although the cause of muscle cramps remains unclear, many trainers or athletes experience them at one time or another. Some believe cramps occur as a result of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance or fatigue. When you experience a cramp, stop exercising and gently stretch the muscle until the pain subsides. Whatever the cause may be, here are some tips to help you avoid muscles cramps in the future:
-Warm up for five to 10 minutes before every workout.
-Be sure to gently stretch both during and after exercise.
-Make sure you stay hydrated at all times with water.
-Build strength and endurance gradually, don’t rush it.
